Today’s Penn State football news headlines feature two of the Lions games that ranked among the best of the college football season and a look at a projected area of strength for the Lions’ 2018 recruiting class. Penn State’s 39-38 loss to Ohio State ranked No. 2 on a list of college football’s best games compiled by ESPN’s Jake Trotter, behind only UCLA’s wild season-opening win over Texas A&M. Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett “delivered maybe the game of his career,” according to Trotter, and completed 33 of 39 passes to lead a comeback from a 21-3 second-quarter deficit.
