Dre'Mont Jones staying at Ohio State, foregoing NFL Draft: Buckeyes football news

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football got more good NFL Draft news on Thursday when redshirt junior defensive tackle Dre’Mont Jones announced that he’ll return to the Buckeyes for another season. Jones had been projected as a possible first-round pick by some NFL Draft analysts. The Cleveland native and St. Ignatius product had 20 total tackles for the Buckeyes in 2017, while missing three games after suffering a cut on his leg before Ohio State’s game at Rutgers. Jones had 51 tackles as a redshirt freshman in 2016. My life long dream is to play in the NFL. In order to best achieve this goal, I have decided to forgo my draft eligibility and remain in school.
