No. 22 Michigan defeats No. 8 Ohio State, 74-62

It may not be football, but when Michigan beats Ohio State in anything, it’s awesome. Especially considering that the Wolverines’ men’s basketball team wasn’t necessarily a lock to make the NCAA Tournament. Going into this game, an opportunity to essentially solidify a bid to the tournament was in front of the Wolverines, as the No. 8 Buckeyes were coming into town. The Wolverines did what they needed to do, besting the Buckeyes, 74-62. To get a win over a top-10 ranked team in mid-February will help any team in the country. Michigan held a five-point lead at halftime and then scored 41 in the second half to seal the win. Four Wolverines scored at least 12 points in the game and Muhammad Ali Abdur-Rahkman led with 17.
