UVA lands Ohio State transfer defensive lineman Dylan Thompson

Ohio State defensive lineman Dylan Thompson, who was in Charlottesville on an official visit this weekend, has committed to transfer to Virginia. I just want to thank everyone who has helped me and supported me along my journey! #GoHoos pic.twitter.com/8lvhUubZOs — Dylan Thompson (@BRONCODE59) February 24, 2018 Thompson was rated three-stars according to the 247Sports Composite as a member of the 2014 class, choosing the Buckeyes over offers from Clemson, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Ole Miss, Purdue, Syracuse, and Tennessee among others. The 6-foot-5, 275-pound lineman redshirted in 2014 after suffering a knee injury and battled injuries his first two seasons. Thompson appeared in two games in 2017, notching three tackles and a tackle for a loss.
