Pandel Savic dies at 92 Former Ohio State quarterback Pandel Savic died Tuesday at 92. Savic played with the Buckeyes in the late 1940s and helped the program win its first Rose Bowl over Cal in 1950. Savic was also the longtime chairman of the PGA Memorial Tournament, a golf event held outside of Columbus.
