ESPN.com’s All-Big Ten Freshman Team

As we put a bow on the 2009 Big Ten regular season with the league wrap-up and all-conference team, I want to recognize some of the freshmen (true or redshirt) who made their mark this season.

I’m sure you’ll let me know about the guys I didn’t include, but I wanted to narrow this down to the top five performers on each side of the ball, plus one special teams selection.
