Let's hope so! You'd think someone would whisper in the ears of these guys that they'll start a lot faster at OSU than double stacked Florida or Texas! And who know if Mack Brown or Urban Meyer will even be there a year from now! Also, and more importantly, the Bucks need them badly!

Well, there's finally a bigger piece of **** than Saban. Kiffin will make OSU proud(er). Here's hoping that maybe USC's money won't save them from the death penalty.

This was a great win tonight. As a longtime Ohio State fan, I was fed up with losing in big games. Glad the streak ended tonight.

Pryor played well, glad Tressel let him play a lot more than most of the season. Hope next year we'll be in the BCS title game.

Economically, a new university added to the Big 10-11 should come from a new market. That means - WVU, Syracuse, Rutgers, Missouri, Kentucky. My bet is WVU ... jack

I've been a Duck fan since 1979, and this team is arguably the very best Oregon team that we have ever fielded. This team is deep, athletic, fast, and perfectly suited to run this particular offense. The defense is small but very fast and they play well as a unit. Oregon can also beat you with a kickoff or punt return, because there are playmakers on special teams. This is also a very young team with only a few seniors.

The Buckeyes have a chance to win this game, but it will come down to (1) Terrelle Pryor, (2) turnovers, and (3) special teams. Oregon will put 7~8 in the box and do everything it can to limit the Buckeyes' running attack. They will play man-to-man and force Pryor to win this game with his arm and legs. If Terrelle can improvise and outplay Masoli, the Bucks will win. But without him being the difference maker, OSU could lose this game by 3 or 4 TDs. It could get ugly fast. The physical conditioning and speed of the OSU defense will also be severely tested--especially in the 4th quarter when the Ducks can really turn it on.

Oregon must limit turnovers since they play such a wide open type of spread option, zig-zag, fast paced offense. They will try to run first, but they will also throw the ball 40 times if needed. But the receivers are the weakest link on this offense so if Oregon cannot run the ball, they will struggle. But between Masoli, James, Blount, Barner, and the occasional wide receiver screen or reverse, Oregon has been able to dominate on the ground in every game except for Boise State.

Good luck to OSU, but I predict Oregon 45, OSU 21 if both teams play to their capabilities. Oregon is on a mission this year. I don't think they will be denied, unless the Buckeyes play their absolute A-game to keep this one close.

I'm a Duck fan and I gotta says this was a fun article to read. I like the way you break the spread down.

But as James said above.... We have a lot of weapons. I think many D coordinators the Ducks have faced this year made the mistake of honing in on one thing (i.e the read option) only to see Masoli open the game throwing the ball on 10 of the first 15 plays. It seems like by the time the defense figures out whats going on Masoli goes back to the bread and butter and by then the defensive gameplan has gone out the window.

Another thing that I think stresses the defense are the plays in which Masoli literally has 6 options on one play. Not just keep, pitch or dive but keep, pitch, dive or throw to one of 3 or 4 receivers.

I believe if tOSU wants to win this game it will be have to be by scoring 40+ and forcing us to kick a few field goals. If not the Ducks will score 50 IMO
