By Way Of Explanation
7. Oklahoma State - Yeah, I was generous with the drop. But hanging with the #1 team in the country to the very end isn’t exactly a bad loss.
8. Georgia - Consider this basically a tie with Oklahoma State.
9. Texas Tech - The defense did keep a good Kansas offense in check. I’m not entirely sold, but I’m getting there.
13. Ohio State - The defense is coming around nicely. If only the o-line could also develop some consistency.
15. LSU - This might even be too high. They might not be very good. Thoughts?
17. Florida State - This is almost certainly too high.

Any thoughts? I feel fairly good about my top ten, but if you have anything you don’t think I’ve considered, please point it out. And if anyone wants to make sense of that bottom ten, I’d be happy to listen.
