With a huge recruiting weekend coming up for Ohio State, another name has been added to the list of official visits. Junior College wide receiver Corey Smith, who is currently committed to Mississippi State, will be making his way to Columbus according to Scout.com’s Bill Greene.

Corey Smith is a similar prospect to Shelton Gibson, as they both have elite athletic ability. Listed at 6’1″, 190 pounds, Smith is rated a 4-Star by Scout.com.
Before Smith’s commitment to Mississippi State, there seemed to be a mutual interest between him and Ohio State. However, with the Buckeyes pursuing a handful of other prospects too, Smith gave his commitment to the Bulldogs and seemingly put an end to his recruitment.
