It’s official. Devin Gardner will start at quarterback for Michigan for a second straight week when the Wolverines take on Northwestern at home today.
Head coach Brady Hoke had been coy all week about whether Denard Robinson would return from the nerve issue in his elbow that knocked him out of the Nebraska game two weeks ago. But it appears as if Robinson’s health remains an issue. Robinson is in uniform and did go through warm-ups, but he is unlikely to play even in a limited role today.
