Pelini released a statement saying “everything is fine” following precautionary tests and that he expects to return to work Sunday. He didn’t return to the field after halftime because of flu-like symptoms, and defensive coordinator John Papuchis took over his duties. Nebraska’s team doctor checked Pelini’s pulse on the sideline during the first half of the Huskers’ win against Arkansas State.
