ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The Michigan football team handily put away Iowa 42-17 behind an explosive performance from junior quarterback Devin Gardner. The victory capped the second consecutive perfect home season for Brady Hoke and gave the Wolverines’ senior class its first win over the Hawkeyes.
Game ball goes to: Gardner. In just his third career start at quarterback, the junior carried the day. He accounted for six touchdowns — three passing, three rushing.
