The Big Ten might miss out on several of the more prestigious individual awards this season, but the league appears to be in good shape to produce a Rimington Trophy winner.
Wisconsin’s Peter Konz and Michigan’s David Molk are two of the six finalists for the Rimington Trophy, given to the nation’s top center. The winner will be announced Thursday during the ESPNU Home Depot College Football Awards Show. The other finalists are Clemson’s Dalton Freeman, Oklahoma State’s Grant Garner, Georgia’s Ben Jones and Alabama’s William Vlachos.
