We are at halftime in the Horseshoe, as Ohio State hosts the Michigan Wolverines in “The Game.”
Pregame
BCS No. 19 Michigan travels to AP No. 4 (weak) Ohio State to play The Game. (Ohio State is undefeated in a major AQ conference; the Buckeyes should be sitting at No. 2. Something smells funny there.)
Regardless of that fact, Ohio State enters the rivalry undefeated for the first time since 2006. The Buckeyes will have nothing on their minds except taking down the last opponent on their schedule.
Even if Ohio State entered this game 0-11, the Buckeyes would be a serious threat to the Wolverines. That’s how big this rivalry is. It’s even bigger, thanks to The Ohio State University’s ban from postseason play.
This is the last chance to make an impression on next preseason’s polls. If both teams bring their best football, this will be an epic battle that will be a great kickoff to rivalry weekend.
