As first reported by Tim May of The Columbus Dispatch, linebacker Conner Crowell and offensive lineman Joey O’Conner have left Ohio State and will not rejoin the team in 2013.

Crowell, a former 3-star linebacker recruit from the class of 2011, wasn’t medically cleared to rejoin the team after multiple injuries to his leg and ankle.
After redshirting as a freshman following a knee surgery last year, O’Conner will transfer to a college (yet to be announced) close to his home in Colorado. O’Conner was a former 4-star offensive guard who was committed to Penn State before the Sandusky scandal broke.
