Ohio State Football: Why Buckeye Fans Shouldn’t Worry About Jordan Hall’s Injury

So, Jordan Hall suffers an odd foot injury, and now he’ll probably be out through the start of the season. Ten weeks of rehab with the season less than 10 weeks away. Brutal news for Brutus, to be sure, especially since the next three tailbacks in line (Carlos Hyde, Rod Smith, Bri’Onte Dunn in some order close to that) are more or less similar runners.
Of course, the nature of the injury itself—a badly cut foot—is odd enough to arouse suspicion in some fans, and that’s not unreasonable. Like, was there a samurai sword just lying around in his yard?
But based on all we know right now, the conclusion that one should not come to is that Hall was involved in some sort of incident. You know, an incident. The reason not to come to that conclusion is to actually listen to what Urban Meyer had to say about it. Here’s what he told the Canton Repository:
