LINCOLN, Neb. — Greetings from an unseasonably warm and breezy day at Memorial Stadium, where temperatures are in the mid-70s but wind gusts are approaching 30 mph. The sun is out, but there is a chance of thunderstorms before this one is over.
If I’m a Nebraska player or coach, I say: Let the wind blow even harder. Anything that might disrupt the passing game has to favor the Huskers, since Penn State’s offense is so heavily based on the passing game.
