Ohio State Beats Michigan State For Share Of Big Ten Title

William Buford made a shot from the top of the key with just 1 second left, lifting the Ohio State Buckeyes to a 72-70 win over the Spartans making it a three-way tie for the Big Ten championship.

After the game, Buford said – “I was fortunate to knock down the big shot of the night to give us another Big Ten title.”

The Buckeyes earned a share of their third straight conference championship, their fifth in seven years.

The Wolverines, were the third team in the three-way tie. It was their first Big Ten title since 1986.

Michigan State is going be the top-seeded team in the Big Ten tournament, which begins Thursday in Indianapolis. Michigan will be No. 2 and Ohio State No. 3.
