Jalen Hurd felt like a valued guest on his latest visit. That wasn’t always the feeling he had when it came to the University of Tennessee. While visiting UT, the ESPN Watch List tailback was doted on by first-year head coach Butch Jones. It was a much different experience than he had with former UT coach Derek Dooley. Jalen Hurd is a rising prospect in the class of 2014 out of Nashville, Tennessee. He is receiving a lot of attention, and rightfully so. Hurd last year accumulated over 1600 rushing yards and 450 receiving yards. Along with those accomplishments, Hurd also scored 28 overall touchdowns Hurd played running back, was split out wide, and will also play safety this upcoming season.
