Carton announced via Twitter he planned to transfer to Marquette. He announced Jan. 30 he was taking a leave of absence from the team because of mental health issues and announced March 19 he was leaving the program. Carton averaged 10.4 points and shot 47.7% overall (71 of 149) for the Buckeyes. He could file for a wavier to play immediately in 2020-21 but is also reportedly considering a pro career if he does not receive a waiver.
