What Tunmise Adeleye’s commitment means for Ohio State football: Buckeye Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — At some point, Ohio State football’s ability to summon elite defensive line talent will be taken for granted. Yet despite their national reputation as an incubator for NFL stars, the Buckeyes have not strayed far to find blue chip edge rushers in recent years. Rising sophomore Zach Harrison grew up mere minutes from Ohio Stadium. Pickerington North 2021 commit Jack Sawyer had a slightly longer drive, but barely long enough to listen to a podcast episode. So the significance of Wednesday’s commitment from four-star, top-50 defensive end Tunmise Adeleye surpasses what he can do physically for Larry Johnson’s defensive line.
