A few weeks ago, we shared our list of key prospects the Ohio State men’s basketball program would be looking at for the 2021 class. The Buckeyes have two commitments for the 2021 class from Ohio in Willoughby ISA at Andrews Osborne guard Meechie Johnson and Convoy Crestview forward Kalen Etzler. OSU coach Chris Holtmann is still hoping to add another guard and a post player to that class. Going into the 2020-21 season, OSU will have as many as six juniors on scholarship. It seems likely Holtmann’s 2022 recruiting class could number as many as four or five players. That group can’t sign, however, until the early signing period in November 2021. OSU and Holtmann have already offered a handful of players in that class.
