Underestimating Ohio State football defensive end Zach Harrison while he chases the Chase Young peak


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Underestimating Zach Harrison feels like the fair thing to do. Because the other choice is comparing him to Chase Young. Harrison is Ohio State’s sophomore defensive end who was a five-star recruit in the Class of 2019, the No. 12 recruit in the nation, the No. 1 recruit in Ohio and the No. 2 defensive end. That made Harrison the 14th-highest rated Ohio State recruit in the modern era of recruiting, dating back to 2000, with three recent defensive ends ahead of him — Noah Spence in the 2012 class, Nick Bosa in 2016 and Young in 2017.
