COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s captains are set for the 2020 season. The Buckeyes selected their seven captains by a team vote. Two are returning to that distinction, while five will hold captaincies for the first time. OFFENSE Justin Fields, QB: The returning Heisman Trophy finalist was an obvious choice as the Buckeyes’ returning starting quarterback. Fields was the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year in 2019 after throwing for 3,273 yards with 41 touchdowns against three interceptions. Wyatt Davis, OL: Davis made the most of his first season as a starter in 2019, falling one selection short of consensus All-American honors.
