COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football offered Daylen Baldwin the chance to join perhaps the most talented receiver room in the country right now. The former Jackson State receiver instead decided to head home and compete against the Buckeyes instead. Baldwin committed to Michigan on Monday, a few days after visiting both the Wolverines and Ohio State. The Southfield, Michigan, native had emerged as one of the more intriguing graduate transfer options of the summer. A big receiver at 6-3, 210 pounds, Baldwin made the most of his 27 receptions for Jackson State last season, turning them into 540 yards and seven touchdowns. Ohio State’s receiver room has seen some attrition since the end of last season. Mookie Cooper and Jameson Williams transferred and Gee Scott Jr. moved to tight end.
