Let’s say a big hearty ”welcome back” to the Ohio State Buckeyes, who have returned to the top spot in my Big Ten Power Rankings for Week 8. The Buckeyes, our preseason No. 1, fell out of top spot after an early loss to Oregon, but jumped back in during a bye week because former No. 1 Iowa got upset at home by Purdue. The top five still distance themselves from the rest of the league, and there’s been a lot of shuffling in that top group because of the Iowa loss. The order now is sure to stir some debate. We’ve got four teams on a bye this week, Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska and Rutgers.
