Ohio State football’s TreVeyon Henderson returns to Indiana game after early injury scare


BLOOMINGTON, Indiana — Ohio State football’s already thin running back depth received an early test at Indiana on Saturday night. TreVeyon Henderson took the first carry of the night, but Miyan Williams soon replaced him. Henderson was later seen on the sideline without his helmet, having conversations with the team’s athletic trainers. Williams completed the opening drive with an 11-yard touchdown drive. He carried five times for 38 yards on the drive. Henderson, though, soon had his helmet back and returned to start the Buckeyes’ second drive. In the meantime, Indiana drove for a game-tying touchdown. Henderson completed that drive with a 21-yard touchdown run, proving his health and putting the Buckeyes back on top, 14-7.
