COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football fell short of lofty team goals for 2021, but prestigious individual accolades are within reach. C.J. Stroud is a finalist for the Heisman Trophy, after cleaning up in a Big Ten offensive awards sweep. Yet the real drama is which Buckeyes will earn All-America honors and a lasting legacy on campus. Any OSU player who receives All-America status from a reputable publication receives his own tree in Buckeye Grove. To earn consensus All-America status, players must be recognized by and three of the following five lists: the American Football Coaches Association, the Associated Press, The Sporting News the Walter Camp Football Foundation and the Football Writers Association of America.
