Former Ohio State University star quarterback who started his NFL career with a first-round draft pick to Washington and most recently played for the Steelers has died. Dwayne Haskins, 24, was killed on Saturday morning when he was hit by a car in South Florida, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.Haskins, who started one season at Ohio State, became one of the best players in college football. During his final season with the Buckeyes in 2018, Haskins made sure to break records. Haskins recorded 54 total touchdowns (50 passing and four rushing) while throwing just eight interceptions across 14 appearances to finish third in Heisman Trophy voting.He also set 28 Ohio State records in 2018 and added seven additional Big Ten Conference records including single-season passing yards (4,831), touchdown passes (50) and total offensive yards (4,939).Haskins went on to win the Chicago Tribune Silver Football award as the best player in the…
