Former Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins dies after being hit by dump truck on Florida highway


ESPN reports that Haskins was was training in South Florida with his Pittsburgh Steelers teammates. COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins died Saturday morning after being hit by a vehicle in Florida. He was 24. Haskins’ agent, Cedric Saunders told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the quarterback was training in South Florida with his Pittsburgh Steelers teammates. Dwayne Haskins, a standout at Ohio State before becoming Washington’s first-round pick and playing in Pittsburgh, died this morning when he got hit by a car in South Florida, per his agent Cedric Saunders.
