COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football opens the 2022 season looking up at a familiar name at the top of the preseason Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Buckeyes received six first-place votes and are ranked No. 2. No. 1 Alabama received 54 first-place votes. No. 3 and defending national champion Georgia received the other three first-place votes. Clemson, coming off a down year by its standards, opens at No. 4.
