Ohio State could rattle CFP with win over No. 1 Georgia: Crowquill


CLEVELAND, Ohio — The No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes play the undefeated and No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs Saturday in the Peach Bowl. The winner will play either Michigan or TCU for the national championship on Jan. 9 in Los Angeles at Sofi Stadium. This will be OSU’s fifth appearance in the CFP. They are 2-2 in semifinal games having beat Alabama in 2014 and Clemson in 2020 . In championship games the Buckeyes are 1-1 beating Oregon in 2014 and losing to Alabama in 2020. The good news for the Bucks is that the two teams they’ve lost to in the tournament, Alabama and Clemson, didn’t make the cut this year. Instead OSU will play 13-0 defending national champion Georgia in the first round and if they win, there’s a good chance they’ll face undefeated No. 3 Michigan for the title.
