COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State opened up its season with a 23-3 win over Indiana where its defense was the most positive thing coming out of the game. The Hoosiers were limited to just a 42-yard field goal that wa barley successful first hitting the upright before getting a favorable bounce. It is the first time since its 45-12 win over Arkansas State that the Buckeyes kept a team from scoring a touchdown. The last time they did so against a Power Five opponent was in 2019 when it held Northwestern to just a field goal in a 52-3 road win.
