AP Top 25: Where is Ohio State football in the Week 2 college rankings?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 23-3 victory at Indiana did not come with style points — at least on offense — and that may have caused a slip in the AP Top 25 poll. The Buckeyes dropped to No. 5 in Tuesday’s first update since the preseason poll. They had opened the season at No. 3, but only two points ahead of Alabama. The Crimson Tide took that No. 3 spot, and Florida State — which opened with a big win over previous No. 5 LSU — jumped four spots to No. 4, with three No. 1 votes. Two-time defending national champion Georgia remained No. 1 after a 48-7 victory over Tennessee-Martin. The Bulldogs received 58 No. 1 votes.
