When the NFL season officially kicks off Thursday, Ohio State set to be well represented throughout the league’s 32 teams. Heading into the NFL season opener Thursday night between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions, 57 former Ohio State football players are rostered on 27 different teams. All but nine of those players will start the 2023 season on an active roster. Players such as Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who transferred from Ohio State to Alabama and LSU, respectively, were not included in the total.
