'Ohio State is so QBU today': How OSU football fans are reacting to Joe Burrow extension

Ohio State continues to claim Joe Burrow. Shortly after the Burrow agreed to a 5-year contract extension with the Cincinnati Bengals worth a reported $275 million, making him the highest-paid player in NFL history, Ohio State football’s general manager of player personnel Mark Pantoni posted a message celebrating the former Buckeye quarterback. “Joe started from the bottom, now he HERE!!!” Pantoni wrote, posting a picture of Burrow’s elementary school graduation photo along with a tweet announcing the extension. In three seasons at Ohio State, Burrow completed 29 of 39 pass attempts for 287 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Burrow transferred to LSU before the 2018 season, recording 8,565 passing yards, 76 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in two seasons, earning the 2019 Heisman Trophy.
