Cardale Jones throws out first pitch at Indians game (Video)

After winning the National Championship, Ohio State quarterback, Cardale Jones, threw out the first pitch at the Cleveland Indians game. Outside of LeBron James, Cardale Jones might be the biggest hero in the state of Ohio at the moment. Stepping in as the third-string quarterback last season, Jones did the unthinkable and led the Buckeyes to the first ever College Football Playoff Championship. As is customary for all champions after winning a title, Jones was invited to a baseball game (in this case, the Cleveland Indians) to throw out the first pitch. Here he is tossing it to the Indians’ Nick Swisher. For first pitch standards it was pretty good, and much better than some others that have either bounced it or fired it into the first row of the stands. It’s also an improvement for Jones, who just last week struggled in a game of impromptu softball, swinging and missing a ball that was right down the middle. Perhaps when it comes to baseball and softball, pitching is his thing. It would make sense considering he has a strong arm and can’t swing to save his life. More from FanSided
