Miller cleared to throw football without restrictions

Miller was set to be the starter past year, however he suffered a non-contact injury to his throwing shoulder during August camp that required surgery, which ultimately led to him missing the entire season. However, the Bill Rabinowitz of the Columbus Dispatch, says those reports may be premature. Miller has been cleared to throw the football, according to Alex Gleitman of 247Sports and he is able to do so without any limitations on his shoulder, which had to be surgically repaired before the 2014 season. That’s an encouraging step for the Buckeyes, who had been approaching things cautiously with Miller. We would still put the odds in Jones’ favor. Jones would seem to have the highest NFL upside. Miller, of course, won the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year award in both 2012 and 2013, but was injured in the Orange Bowl against Clemson in January 2014.
