Early odds from Vegas: Another NCAA football championship run expected by Ohio State

I am headed to the shore this week on a little vacation looking to unwind from the just completed high school sports year. But before you know it, a new school year will begin with football season front and center. Summer goes by so quickly. Everybody loves football, but the biggest negative about it to me is that it spells the end of summer. It’s just 10 weeks to Labor Day weekend. RJ Bell of Pregame.com, who has his finger on the pulse of the Vegas bookmakers, just released the Golden Nugget’s 10 biggest games of the college football season started with the Michigan State-Oregon game on Sept. 12. The Golden Nugget has already released lines for every game of the coming season and to no one’s surprise, defending national champion Ohio State is favored in every game — by at least 14 points. They’ve also got the national championship odds for each team. Penn State is a 100-to-1 longshot. Michigan under new coach Jim Harbaugh is a 90-to-1 longshot. Notre Dame checks in at 32-to-1.
