The coaches and writers college football polls have yet to make an impact on the sports public and won’t receive much press until the only live North American sports in action is Major League Baseball, in July and early August. There are still plenty of companies, publications and websites that put out their Top-25, computer rankings and early season team previews, and the one common denominator is that most college gridiron pundits have Alabama as their No #1.
