Coveted four-star DeMatha defensive end Chase Young committed to Ohio State on Friday night during the Buckeyes’ annual Friday Night Lights football camp in Columbus, Ohio. Young is rated as the No. 1 player in Maryland, No. 3 weak-side defensive end nationally and No. 28 player overall in the Class of 2017 in the 247sports.com composite rankings. Ohio State has the nation’s No. 1 class by a wide margin, according to 247sports.com. Maryland was in a top 15 he announced in April.
