COLUMBUS, Ohio — Terrelle Pryor’s college debut went well on Saturday.
The much acclaimed recruit rushed for a touchdown for Ohio State and showed some touch with his arm.
But he still took a back seat to Chris "Beanie" Wells’ foot injury in Ohio State’s 43-0 win over Youngstown State.
Despite being listed as third-team on the depth chart, Pryor was the first quarterback off the bench to replace starter Todd Boeckman in the first quarter.
He completed 4-of-6 passes for 35 yards and carried nine times for 52 yards. In the fourth quarter, Pryor completed a pass to Maurice Wells for 10 yards and then picked up 21 yards on a quarterback draw and a few plays later scored his first collegiate TD on an 18-yard run around left end.
