Ohio State vs USC: Are they ready?

The question that remains in all Ohio State fans minds after a dismal performance against OU is; Are they ready? After watching their offensive line;which didn’t impress me at Youngstown State either, I would say Tressel has a lot of figuring out to do. Maybe their assessment of this offensive line is completely off. Or maybe they are better practice players than game players.I really don’t know, but I hope someone does! Some fans in Buckeye land are really starting to lose the faith. They are starting to secretly wonder if this team is severely over-rated.

The thing that we can hope is this was all just a big show to throw USC off. Maybe Ohio State wants them to think they suck, like the rest of the nation. Buckeye fans can only hope this was a show of hide and seek. We are going to hide all of our good plays until next week. Also, we are going to hide Terrelle Pryor until next week. In fact, we are just going to save all of our energy for next week. Why don’t we throw in a fake Beanie Wells injury while we are at it! (Just kidding, I do think he is hurt)

I hope that Tressel is not as conservative this week. I hope he is really giving it to these players in the film room. They have a ton to work on. From fundamentals, to just utilizing the talent they have. Also, why not call  Laurinitus nothing more than a third round draft pick, that should light some fire in him! I am so sick of watching Laurinitus run around blocks instead of running right through them. He is capable of doing it, unless he has lost something from last year.

Buckeye Fans, Get ready to bite your nails. This game should be a good one if the Buckeyes play up to their potential. We are loaded with talent, they just need to realize their potential. Hopefully, they will come out and blow out USC like they did Texas a few years ago.

Having Beanie this week should add a measure of confidence to all of the offensive players. Boeckman needs to get that swagger back. Everyone has bad games big guy, just brush it off and show us why Coach Tress said your one of the best QB’s in the nation. He doesn’t just throw those compliments out to everyone.

My final prediction for this week is this.  OSU 34- USC 31

Yes, our offense and kicker will show up, as well as Terrelle Pryor. Go Get em Bucks, we have our complete trust in you!
