No. 2 Ohio State Whips Up on No. 3 Duke 85-63

No. 2 Ohio State beat No. 3 Duke 85-63 on Tuesday night in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Jared Sullinger finished with 21 points leading all Buckeye scorers.

“Sometimes you just get your butt kicked,” Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said.

Aaron Craft had eight assists and five rebounds.

On consecutive possessions, Ohio State got a dunk by Sullinger and a 3 by Craft thanks to around-the-horn passing that found an open player.

Value City Arena was packed and the spirits were high.

The Buckeyes also dominated the boards (18-11) and outscored the Blue Devils 10-0 in second-chance points in the first half.

The victory was Ohio State’s 29th in a row at home.
