Penn State Football: Baylor’s Brian Norwood Emerging as Favorite in Coach Search

Penn State is still in need of a head football coach after Joe Paterno was fired following the Jerry Sandusky scandal.
Many people have been rumored to be interested in the job, but the guy who appears to have taken the lead is Baylor’s Brian Norwood. He coached the safeties for seven years in Happy Valley after playing defensive back at Hawaii from 1983 to 1987. He is also a candidate for the Warriors’ vacant head coaching position.
