OSU’s Meyer completes staff with Sheridan

Ohio State on Monday announced the hiring of defensive assistant Bill Sheridan, who completes Urban Meyer’s new staff with the Buckeyes. Sheridan spent the past seven season as an NFL assistant and also has worked at Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame. His son, Nick, played quarterback for Michigan and started some games in 2008.

Sheridan is expected to coach Ohio State’s defensive backs.
