Ohio State is headed to the Final Four after a hard fought victory against the #1 seed Syracuse Orange. Sullinger came up big for the Buckeyes especially down the stretch and was the leading scorer with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Smith Jr. also had a big game with 18 points and 3 rebounds. After some early foul trouble for Sullinger, Williams came off the bench and played strong with 4 rebounds and 3 points. Deshaun Thomas added 14 points and 9 rebounds while Buford played better tonight with 13 points and 9 rebounds.
There were a lot of fouls called on both sides of the ball and while Syracuse was the strong from the line with 20-25 the Buckeye hit some key free-throws when it counted most ending up at 31-42 from the stripe.
Ohio State will face the winner of the No. 1 seededNorth Carolina Tar Heels and the No. 2 seeded Kansas Jayhawks on March 31 in one half of the Final Four.
