I had the pleasure with catching up with Tampa, FL defensive end Jordan Sherit this evening. I really enjoyed talking with Sherit as he is very polite and just a joy to get to know and talk to. This past season Sherit accumulated 14 sacks and 110 tackles for his high school team. Additionally Sherit also impacted the offensive side of the ball, garnering around 100 receiving yards to go with 3 touchdowns. The performance he displayed last season enabled Sherit to receive 1st team all state honors in Florida. His recruitment received a huge burst as a result. Sherit has picked up 23 offers, with one being Ohio State. Some of the offers Sherit has received include Miami, Florida, Stanford, Notre Dame, Auburn, South Carolina, Oklahoma, and Vanderbilt.
“I have already been to Florida, Miami, Vanderbilt, and South Florida”, said Sherit. “This summer I will be trying to get to as many schools as I can so I can better make a decision.”
