Urban Meyer’s Buckeyes take the field for the first time ever this Saturday and there is a lot going on in Columbus—even in a year when Ohio State cannot compete in the postseason.
The arrival of Meyer has brought about expectations even higher than the Buckeyes are used to and within a year he’ll have to deliver.
In fact, it may even be a blessing in disguise that they have a year to put things together with Meyer’s offense.
But all that doesn’t mean this team won’t play well this season, as they have a few big names that are hard to stop.

The mammoth defensive lineman actually has surprising speed and agility and is just scratching the surface of his potential.
He and the next guy on this list make for one of the most formidable defensive lines in the country.
He’s routinely dropped weight in college to get better each and every year and we can expect the same this season.
