Ohio State Spring Game 2012: Urban Meyer Will Restore Attitude to Buckeyes

Ohio State Buckeyes new head football coach Urban Meyer is changing the program, and he’s going to bring back a winning attitude.

He’s a champion, there’s no doubt about it, and that’s the attitude that he’s installing in his players, even in the offseason.
He doesn’t have the luxury of being content.
He’s not going to be able to show up at Ohio State and conquer the Big Ten just because he’s a huge name.
Sure, his previous two national titles speak volumes about him as a coach, but the proverbial sea isn’t just going to part and let the Buckeyes through because he said so.
The Big Ten is a very strong conference nowadays. Gone are the days of the “Big Two and Little Eight,” where Michigan and Ohio State dominated the landscape.

If only it were that easy for Meyer…
Now he has to worry about a growing Michigan State program, a quickly rebuilding Michigan, a very powerful Wisconsin and the recently acquired Nebraska.
